THE MISSION SOCIETY (TMS) GLOBAL
The mission society is an interdenominational organization based in Norcross, Georgia (United States). The mission of TMS is to “mobilize and deploy the body of Christ globally to join Jesus in his mission, especially among the least-reached peoples”.
Through a number of missionaries, the mission society has supported MFHH throughout the years. Recently, Dr. Cameron Gongwer, a US trained family physician sent by TMS, completed a 12-year medical mission at the hospital. He continues to collaborate and support the hospital through spiritual, human resource and infrastructure development.
The hospital witnessed an immense growth and development period during Dr. Gongwer’s tenure and progressed from a small outpatient-clinic into the fully functioning health facility it has become. Due to his efforts, MFHH will be hosting its first greenlight program interns in June 2017. The greenlight program, created by TMS global, provides students and young adults with an opportunity to explore cross-cultural ministry.

CROSSPOINT GLOBAL HEALTH
Crosspoint Global Health (CGH) is a collaborative health outreach in developing countries. CGH is organized to work alongside local churches for transforming communities into healthier places to live. They enlist Christian health professionals with a vision for healthy communities to serve with CGH. Functioning at the grassroots level, Dr. Cameron Gongwer and other professionals team up with community health workers, health facilities, and churches in underserved areas. Additionally, CGH contributes to healthcare staff development and translation of public health research into effective community health action. These joint efforts are designed to strengthen the capability of each local health service.

INSTITUTE OF INTERNATIONAL MEDICINE (INMED)
The mission of the institute of international medicine is to “equip healthcare professionals and students with the unique tools to serve forgotten people”. Based in Kansas City, Missouri (United States) INMED trains and sends students and healthcare professionals to go out and serve the unreached by providing culturally appropriate leadership skills.
MFHH is an INMED training site where INMED students can come and learn about tropical medicine in a tropical hospital. During their time here, students are mentored and supervised by trained Ghanaian health professionals. In February 2017, MFHH hosted a group of INMED students and healthcare professionals for a month.
