Welcome to the official webpage of the Methodist Faith Healing Hospital (MFHH). At MFHH we are dedicated to the idea of providing holistic care to patients and families as a continuation of the healing ministry of our Lord Jesus Christ.
As part of our efforts to meet the increasing demand of our services, we have embarked on two building expansion projects. The first, a 150-bed capacity facility including out-patient services which will greatly reduce congestion in the current 81 bed facility and enhance the quality of care patients receive.
The second project, a new diagnostic and imaging center complete with state of the art equipment, will increase the number of available tools to be used by clinicians in forming accurate diagnosis. We are hopeful this will improve health outcomes and decrease patient‘s hospital length of stay.
As part of the facility’s effort to become more efficient and competitive in this era of information technology, we have embarked on a pilot project of documentation using the Health Administration and Management Software (HAMS) program. HAMS is currently being utilized by the records, insurance and pharmacy departments.
Electronic medical records have become the mainstay for documentation and inter-departmental information dissemination. Thus, we are working on complete integration of the HAMS system by the end of the year 2017. This will decrease waiting time for patient registration, improve diagnostic results turnover, streamline the backup of information to National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) servers and ensure accurate patient documentation for both clinicians and nurses.
Our goal is to be among the best health care givers who provide top class maternal and pediatric services in Ghana and the world. Through our dedicated partners both local and abroad, we have been able to provide excellent health care to an average of 55,000 people within our catchment population per year.
We seek cooperation and collaboration in the area of solar energy, critical medical equipment and commodities provision, infrastructural development and human resource development so as to be competitive and excellent in delivering our mandate. We enjoy support from the church and the community as we see ourselves as a catalyst for development in the community we serve.
We attract an average of four foreign students’ visits per year to study tropical medicine and medical missions. The hospital has well-equipped security- conscious accommodation facilities as well as mentors/specialists to train such students when they come.
We are excited about the prospects of the facility and even more excited that you visited the website to learn about our facility and the services we provide. If you will like to know more about our facility, please contact us at info@mfhhospital.org.
