The Methodist Faith Healing Hospital (MFHH) is a 112 bed facility dedicated to providing quality and holistic care to communities in and around the Afigya Kwarbre district in the Ashanti region, Ghana (West Africa).
The hospital was dedicated on September 24th 1988, and began as an out patient department (OPD) on March 25th 1991 .It has since seen major developments in addition to increasing the number of diverse services it provides. Current services offered at MFHH include Maternity, Diagnostics (lab, X-ray and Scan), In-Patient Care, Surgery, Accident & Emergency, Public Health, Optometry and ENT (ear, nose & throat).
The facility also serves as a referral hospital for two main districts within the Ashanti Region; Afigya Kwabre and Kwabre East. The hospital also manages eight other Methodist clinics spread across the Ashanti Region.

The hospital seeks to become a center of medical excellence which will provide preventive, curative and rehabilitative services. The facility also seeks to provide teaching, training and research opportunity for health care personnel in the country.
Location and catchment population
Afigya Kwabre is one of the 30 districts of the Ashanti region. The district was established in November 2007 with Kodie, a town 23 kilometers away from Kumasi, being the district capital. The Afigya Kwabre district shares boundaries with the following districts: Kumasi metropolis to the south, Ejura Sekyereodumase, Sekyere South, Offinso Municipal, Kwabre and Atwima Nwabiagya. The district has a land area of 32.3 square kilometers and an estimated population of 155,550 (2010 census). It is divided into six sub districts with 42 electoral areas. There are 18 health facilities in the district with 10 being public owned and the remainder run by private entities. The Methodist Faith Healing Hospital serves as the only referral health facility in the district.
